When: 1st Monday of the month, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Where: Orchard Creek, Computer Room
We have installed new subscription Genealogy databases (Ancestry, Fold3, World Vital Records, Genealogy Bank) and the most popular Genealogy programs (FamilyTree, Rootsmagic and Legacy) on the computers at Orchard Creek so that you will be able to use them when there are no classes going on. Please take advantage of your dues at work. Just get key at activity desk.
Be sure to bring a Flash drive with you to save your information.
HELP SESSIONS- Available in Multi-Media Room (next door to computer room) at same time as Computer Workshops. Bring your laptop or just yourself and members will help you with problems you may be having. (Examples of ways people have been helped: Found several family records that broke brickwalls and Ancestry searching)
Consider this your monthly research time. Come use a computer to search for family or enter data you have in a program. Some experienced people will be available to help otherwise you can work on your own.
Speaker and/or topic may change without notice.
